Hooray Finally after months of takeaway stay at home date nights, we were finally able to go out for a well deserved date night. Well, it actually turned into a date lunch, drinks, dinner and more drinks. A whole date day! We had an amazing, albeit rather large lunch, at the Waterfront Bistro. We then tried to get a drink before heading for dinner and ended up in Wiff Waff as everywhere else was packed. While it wasn't out first choice the drinks were lovely as was the atmosphere. We then headed to Aurora for dinner. The food there is so nice, it's a little more upmarket than some of the restaurants along the waterfront. Due to the warm weather and the easing of lockdown everywhere was absolutely brimming with people. It was nice to see so many people out, definitely not a lot of social distancing going on though.
Staying Accountable Monday to Friday I was really on it, eating well, drinking plenty of water, moving. Then Saturday hit and we ate and drank it all. But it's fine, it happens very very infrequently and sometimes we all need to let loose and have a little splurge. I am not going to beat myself up over it, I'm just going to let my body rest, drink lots of water and eat a shit load of veg!! Today is a new day and I can make better choices.
